Arlington, VA – Bean, Kinney & Korman is pleased to announce that Richard “Rip” Sullivan has joined the firm as a shareholder. Recently elected to represent Virginia’s 48th District in the House of Delegates, Rip brings to the firm nearly 30 years of experience as a highly regarded civil litigator, along with a remarkable record of civic engagement.

In addition to his active trial and appellate law practice, Rip has devoted extensive time to service on numerous Northern Virginia boards and commissions, including the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and Legal Services of Northern Virginia.
Rip is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and Amherst College. He is admitted to the bars of Virginia, the District of Columbia, the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the US Supreme Court.
