Arlington, VA – Bean, Kinney & Korman is happy to announce that it has appointed Timothy Hughes of counsel to the firm. In his new position, Tim will represent his clients in construction disputes, commercial and civil litigation, and corporate, contract and general business transactional matters.

Tim joins Bean Kinney with more than 16 years of experience, most recently as the founder of Hughes & Associates, P.L.L.C., founded in 2000, which focused on complex litigation, construction litigation, general civil litigation, intellectual property and general business representation. Tim began his law career as an associate with Hazel & Thomas, P.C. and later became an associate with Carr, Goodson, Lee & Warner, P.C.
Tim is a member of and has held many leadership roles for numerous industry, professional and bar associations. These include several Northern Virginia area Chambers of Commerce, the American Institute of Architects, Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, and the Virginia State and D.C. Bars among many others. He is selected for speaking engagements on a regular basis by various associations, and frequently contributes to publications such as Mid-Atlantic Construction, AIA Northern Virginia News, Masonry Magazine and Electrical Contractor magazine.
Tim has a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary.
