Arlington, VA — Bean, Kinney & Korman announced today that Doug Taylor has joined the firm as an associate. Doug represents businesses and individuals in federal, state and local employment law counseling and litigation matters. He has experience in handling a wide range of business and employment matters, including wage payment and commission sales disputes, overtime pay, health and retirement benefits, employment and commercial contracts, debtor-creditor relations, retail collections and business torts.
Doug also has experience with executive employment agreements and employee handbooks. He has represented businesses in connection with debtor-creditor relations, commercial and retail collections, and business torts. Doug regularly represents federal, state and local government employees in performance- and discipline-related terminations, suitability determinations, security clearance appeals and retirement benefits matters.

Prior to joining Bean, Kinney & Korman, Doug maintained a private law practice. He earned his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and holds a B.S. in business from the University of Maryland. Doug is a past co-chair of the Montgomery County Bar Association Employment Law Section and regularly lectures on a variety of employment law topics.
