Bean, Kinney & Korman Appoints John Kelly as Of Counsel to the Firm

Arlington, VA — Bean, Kinney & Korman announced today that John Kelly has joined the firm as of counsel. John represents lenders as well as developers with respect to their real estate investments nationwide, including transactions involving construction and development of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, and other investment-grade properties.

John has extensive experience negotiating and drafting loan documents, including loan modifications and other workouts, purchase and sale agreements and all aspects of the review of due diligence. John also represents landlords and tenants in complex office, retail and government leases.

Prior to joining Bean, Kinney & Korman, John practiced at Reed Smith, Holland & Knight LLP and Willcox and Savage PC. He holds an LL.M., in real property development from University of Miami School of Law and a J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law. He has a B.A. in history and political science from Virginia Tech.

John is a regular contributor on real estate and development topics to publications such as Virginia Builder and Property Writes.
