Arlington, VA – Bean, Kinney & Korman is pleased to announce that John Kelly and Christian Lapham have been appointed as equity shareholders of the firm.
In this new role, John will continue to represent clients in general corporate and real property law, including commercial real estate financing, acquisitions, sales and leasing, and mergers and acquisitions. Christian will continue to represent clients in domestic relations and civil litigation matters.

John joined the firm in March 2010 with a practice focused in real estate transactions and negotiating and drafting loan documents. He regularly writes for various real estate publications and currently serves on the Board of Editors for Commercial Leasing Law and Strategy, an ALM publication.
John is a member of the Board of Directors for Shelter House, Inc. and Fellowship Square Foundation. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum.
Christian joined the firm in May 2011 and has become an integral part of the domestic relations practice over the past two and a half years. He is the founder of the Fairfax Chapter of the Second Saturday program, a monthly workshop designed to educate individuals confronting separation or pending divorce. Christian is also on the Board of Directors for SCAN of Northern Virginia and the Alexandria Advisory Board for Virginia Commerce Bank.
In 2014, Christian was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers of America in the area of family law.
