Scott Caulkins has over 30 years of experience in complex commercial and business litigation matters, outside general counsel matters, and franchise and distribution law. Franchise Law, a major part of Scott’s practice, offers him the opportunity to represent both franchisors and franchisees in a broad range of matters, including the preparation of franchise agreements and franchise disclosure documents, and the purchase and sale of franchise businesses. He also counsels franchise companies on franchise compliance issues.
Pat Bruce brings to the firm her astute knowledge in the areas of business and corporate law and litigation, homeowners association and cooperative law, and franchise law in northern Virginia. Pat serves as general counsel to small and medium-sized businesses, advising and assisting in matters ranging from entity formation and the purchase and sale of businesses and assets to day-to-day contract preparation and review, including leases and employment agreements.
Carole Capsalis has experience in a wide array of practice areas, with a primary focus on estate planning, administration and elder law, employment law and business transactions. Carole’s unique background includes having previously served as senior associate general counsel for a national mortgage lending company, where she advised on all aspects of business operations and initiatives, handling state and federal labor law matters impacting the company.
